3/18/2008 Staff Author Denise Jackson, the wife of country music superstar Alan Jackson, is releasing her second book on May 13th, called The Road Home.  This is the second book for the NY Times Best Selling author, and it offers inspiring words of wisdom about the life on the road. “It’s never too late to choose the road that leads to abundant, joyful living,” Denise Jackson says. "This is a book that my children can pass along to their children and grandchildren because the life lessons are universal and apply to everyone- young and old." Last year, Denise achieved success with her first work, It's All About Him: Finding The Love Of My Life, which details the history of the country music couple, including their 5-month separation.  "When she first brought the idea up about doing a book, I was a little anxious about what my fans might think," Alan Jackson told The Tennessean. "But at the same time, I felt like the direction she was going with it and what she had to say was good. I think it showed people that I'm not perfect, I'm a regular guy. We're just married people like anybody else. You grow up and learn from your mistakes, and if you want to make it work, you work hard at making it work." To help promote The Road Home, Denise Jackson will make a special appearance at the Franklin Graham Crusade in Knoxville, TN, April 27th, and at Scotts Books in the Jacksons’ home town, Newnan, GA, April 29.
