Del McCoury Recovering From Gall Bladder Surgery

Del McCoury underwent surgery to remove an inflamed gall bladder last Saturday in Hendersonville, Tenn.

His label issued the following statement, "The procedure was conducted without incident, and McCoury was released on Sunday to continue his recovery at home.”

"The McCoury family would like to thank all of those who expressed concern and prayed for the family during this time. Del is anticipating a quick recovery, and is looking forward to enjoying the holidays with his family and resuming personal appearances and other work in January," the statement said.
