Del McCoury Recording 'Prairie Home Companion' Sessions

The Del McCoury Band heads to St. Louis this week for a return engagement on the popular A Prairie Home Companion radio program to promote McCoury's 50 Year Celebration Box Set and companion CD By Request.
Heard by more than four million listeners each week on 590 public radio stations and abroad on America One and the Armed Forces Networks, the appearance will be broadcast live from the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, MO, at 6 p.m. EST on Saturday, May 30.
This appearance falls between McCoury wrapping up his own festival, Delfest over Memorial Day weekend, and an engagement at Bonnaroo on June 13.
McCoury and band are hitting the road hard this summer performing at many of the major music festivals in celebration of his 50 years in the business.
