A new episode of CMT Crossroads featuring Country Music darling Taylor Swift and classic rockers Def Leppard will premiere on CMT this Friday, Nov. 7, at 9 p.m. EST.All the members from the cross-genre pairing told CMT News they are excited about the episode. Swift said her counterparts were her number one choice, an influence from her mother's appreciation for the band. "The harmonies that they do on their songs are perfect for my range. When we initially started talking about it, I told [Joe Elliott] my favorite lines from my favorite songs," Swift told CMT News. "And he said, 'You can sing all of them. Whatever you want to sing, you can sing it.' I was like a kid in a candy store! I was like, 'You mean I can sing the first line of 'Photograph'? What?!"The British rockers said Swift's influence can be felt throughout Country Music. "It's actually opened it up," said Def Leppard's guitarist, Phil Collen. "It's more popular than your new Country was a few years ago. And now it's younger people in the mainstream, which is really cool."For the full story, click here.
