Bet Deana Shaved Her Legs for This

12/7/2007 Stephen L. Betts Deana Carter is reuniting with her high-school sweetheart, Desperate Housewives actor Jamie Denton on Saturday. The Tennessean reports that the two will serve as grand marshals of the Goodlettsville (Tenn.) Christmas parade. “Jamie is the one who called and asked me, actually,” Deana says of the actor, whom she dated for six years. “And so, of course I'm going to say yes to him. It's like our past. It's our hometown and we love it.” Deana, who currently lives in Los Angeles, says she’s looking forward to reconnecting with her classmates, many of whom she's known since kindergarten. “We used to cruise the plaza. First Baptist Church was a big deal and our social life was kind of centered around that.” Since then, the two have pursued different career paths than originally planned. “There was a time where he was going into the seminary and I was going to be a teacher,” says Deana. “We are living so far from that that it's crazy.”
