With a new writing team, Rucker’s on a roll. Creating a new sound, Rucker enjoys the new melodies, random rhythm and booming bass lines. Rucker gave GAC his thoughts on what makes a good writer and great song, stating, “I don’t think it’s something you can teach. I just think it’s something you learn growin’ up.”

Rucker's current single, “Come Back Song,” was written with some very prominent writers -- Chris Stapleton and Casey Beatherd just to name a few. “Come Back Song” appears on Rucker's upcoming album, Charleston, SC 1966, which makes its debut Oct. 12. Visit www.dariusrucker.com for more info.
