Daniels Family Christmas Traditions

12/21/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Charlie Daniels really gets into Christmas, and so does his wife Hazel. The singer says she pulls out all the stops when it comes to decking the halls of their house.  Charlie says the main reason he loves Christmas is that it's a celebration of the birth of Jesus, noting that he's big on tradition. "We have friends over Christmas Eve for supper, which is something we started doing 20 years ago. I just love the traditions we have established over the years." Charlie will become an important part of another tradition on Jan. 19, 2008, when he's formally inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
