Dailey & Vincent On The Rise

4/14/2008 Kasey Bell Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are new on the bluegrass scene, but they are already making a big splash. The Bluegrass duo’s self-title album debuted at #4 on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey chart for April 2008.  This goes well with their ranking on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums chart, where they have remained in the top 5 for the past seven weeks, after debuting at #2.  On top of all that, their singles “Sweet Carrie” and “By the Mark” have been high on various charts from Sirius and XM Radio, as well as other magazines and radio services.  Their success has also gained a lot of praise from critics. “Together, they carve out their own niche in the field with this bracing debut,” wrote Nick Cristiano of the Philadelphia Inquirer. As if the duo wasn’t busy enough, they will also be making their second appearance on the Grand Ole Opry on Friday, April 25.  The next night, they will be a part of the Bill Gaither & Homecoming Friends concert in Duluth, Georgia.
