In February Liman announced that Kidman would star in the Warner Brothers scandal pic about CIA agent Valerie Plame. This week MTV Movies Blog has Liman saying he would choose Crowe to play Joe Wilson to Kidman's Plame. "I'd love Russell Crowe," MTV reports. "If you’ve met Joe, he's a really strong guy. I've never met an actor stronger than Russell Crowe." The to-be-named picture is based on real-life events surrounding Wilson and his wife.  Wilson, a former U.S. Foreign Service diplomat, garnered attention in 2003 when he published a controversial opinion piece "What I Didn't Find in Africa" in the New York Times, which professed evidence against the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Shortly thereafter, a Washington Post columnist revealed that Mrs. Wilson was CIA agent Valerie Plame. The subsequent federal investigation into the leak became known throughout the media as "Plamegate" or "The Plame Affair." It is reported that the movie has the full support of Wilson and Plame.
