Bragg, N.C., on Thursday, Sept 18. Morgan was stationed at Ft. Bragg in 1990 to 1992 during his tenure in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division.  After serving for 10 years prior to beginning his music career, Morgan enjoys playing for the troops every chance he gets. In 2006, he received the USO Merit Award for his unending support of the U.S. soldiers and their loved ones. Morgan's Eighth "Toast the Troops" show is sponsored by Jack Daniels and the USO. In addition to the free shows at night, Craig and his band will also spend most of the day putting together nearly 10,000 care packages to send to the troops overseas. The concert will be taped for television broadcast. The airing of "Craig Morgan: Back to Bragg, brought to you by Case International Harvester" will premiere on GAC in late October, which will correspond with his Oct. 21 release of his new album, That's Why.  That's Why is Morgan's first release with BNA Records after spending the past few years on an independent record. It is one of the most anticipated Country albums set to release this fall, and Morgan's new single from the new album, "Love Remembers," is making its way up the charts. Previews of the album have appeared in the New York Times and USA Today. In addition to having played the Grand Ole Opry 170 times and playing over 200 sold-out concerts a year, Morgan's radio airplay is also very strong. His singles "Almost Home," "Redneck Yacht Club," and "International Harvester" are fan favorites, as well as "That's What I Love About Sunday", which was Billboard's Most Played Country Song of 2005.
