Serving for more than 10 years in the U.S. Army, Country singer Craig Morgan dedicates time every year to perform and show his respect for American troops.
According to The Boot, on his most recent trip to the Middle East, Morgan was joined by fellow Country star Chris Young, and the two brought cameras along to capture their experience for a GAC television special.
“It was just one of the most amazing and humbling things I have ever had the opportunity to do," Young told GAC. "I'm 24 years old, and there are a lot of people my age who are just coming over here for the first time and in a much different capacity."
The performance was held at the American Embassy in Iraq, marking the first time Iraqi citizens were able to enjoy a live concert by American artists. Young and Morgan were joined by two servicemen who suffered debilitating injuries while serving overseas.

Young and Morgan’s Stars for Stripes: Wounded Warriors Return special will premiere Dec. 11 at 9:30 p.m. EST on GAC.
