Money from the ride goes to several charities around Nashville. Events include a motocross and 4-wheeler ride, an acoustic concert and the launch of The Craig Morgan Fund.  The last time the ride was held in 2007, proceeds from the event benefited Dickson’s Van Leer Elementary School. It was postponed last year because of commitments Morgan had because of his record release and concerts. In a statement, Morgan talked about giving back to the community he grew up in.  “I grew up around Dickson, and live there now – it’s a great place to raise a family,” he said. “But not all children are as fortunate as we’d like them to be, so this event is a fun way to get people together to raise money and awareness to help kids who really need it.”  Fellow Country singer Bucky Covington will join Morgan for the concert, along with Kevin Windham, Destrey Abbott, Fred Andrews and Barry Hawk, all professional motocross riders. Riders must bring their own ATV or bike and will also be able to have lunch with the guests. The concert will take place that night in Dickson, with around 400 tickets available and a silent auction to follow. More details are available here.
