Brooks & Dunn Give Rodeo Official Song

12/7/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Brooks & Dunn's “Cowboy Town” has been adopted as the official song of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo for the next two years. Regarded as the world's richest, most prestigious rodeo, the Wrangler NFR will be held Dec. 6–15 in Las Vegas, and will feature the top 15 contestants competing in events including bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle-bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing and bull riding. The partnership calls for “Cowboy Town” to be played nightly during the Grand Entry, when all 118 Wrangler NFR contestants are introduced. In addition, Brooks & Dunn will perform “Cowboy Town” live to open the evening's events on Thursday, Dec. 13. Cowboy Town,” written by Ronnie Dunn, Larry Boone, and Paul Nelson, is the title track of Brooks & Dunn's latest album.
