GAC's Country Music Across America Heats Up!

8/8/2007 Stephen L. Betts GAC's Country Music Across America host Storme Warren braves the scorching heat to cover Music City's news makers on this week's episode (Thurs., Aug. 9, 9 PM). Knowing that hydration is the key in this kind of summer swelter, Storme makes his way to Arrington Vineyards, the new winery co-owned by Brooks & Dunn's Kix Brooks.  Kix gives a tour of the middle Tennessee facility and enlists Storme to assist in the bottling process. "I've never been that good at anything but I've got a lot of confidence," Kix says of this newest venture. Happy campers Dierks Bentley and Darryl Worley made some campers happy at this year's Williams Syndrome Camp at Vanderbilt's Kennedy Center.  Those with the rare genetic condition often have exceptional musical skills and the week-long camp featured songwriting workshops, a recording session with Dierks and Darryl, and an appearance on The Grand Ole Opry. Also on the show this week: Newcomer Lori McKenna, the Massachusetts-based mother of five who first came to our attention through songs of hers that appeared on Faith Hill's Fireflies; Little Big Town talk about embracing technological advances such as YouTube; And stops at Big & Rich's recent No. 1 party for "Lost In This Moment" as well as the book release party for Denise Jackson's It's All About Him; Plus, Reba talks with Storme about her Reba Duets album, due later this month!
