Colt Ford to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

Colt-Ford
Country Music newcomer Colt Ford will make his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage at the Ryman Auditorium on Jan. 30.
Ford could hardly believe the news at first saying, “When I heard I was going to get to play the Grand Ole Opry, I thought they were pulling my leg. I never in a million years thought I would get this chance. This will be as close as I can get to heaven while playing music.”
Among the songs on Ford’s play list is his newest single, "Cold Beer," featuring Jamey Johnson on accompanying vocals. The single is from Ford’s debut album, Ride Through The Country, which was released in 2008.
After his Opry debut, Ford will continue touring to promote his first album, with many opening gigs for Jason Aldean. Fans can look for Ford’s second album, Chickens & Biscuits, in April.
