Collin Raye Hosts Charity Concert

4/24/2008 Meaghan Mitchell Country Music fans’ hearts will be beating wildly as Collin Raye and friends take to the stage for the 8th Annual Collinfest in DeQueen, Arkansas. The annual festival is a three-day charity event that raises money for various charities in the area. This year Collin’s other musical guests will include Rebecca Lynn Howard, Emerson Drive, and Teddy Gentry. The event is set for June 18-20 and will kick-off with a Fan Club Party on Wednesday, June 18th.  The following day there will be a 5-hour bus tour which ghighlights locations that are important to Raye and his career, followed by the Colgate Country Showdown later that evening. On Friday, the event will host the Collinator Brunch, followed by a new event this year, a Celebrity Golf Tournament. The grand finale on the 20th will be the Collinfest Concert that features Raye, along with Howard, Gentry, and Emerson Drive.
