Cody McCarver Wins Two Music Row Awards

3/5/2008 Stephen L. Betts Country Radio Seminar, taking place in Nashville this week, started on a high note for new artist Cody McCarver. At a special presentation at the Second Fiddle nightclub in Nashville, Music Row magazine handed out their 6th Annual Music Row Awards, and Cody earned two of them. A standing-room-only crowd was on hand as Cody accepted awards for Small Label Artist of the Year and Small Label Breakout Artist of the Year. The awards, based on airplay, were determined by Music Row’s Country Breakout Chart, and based on the success of Cody’s single, “Through God’s Eyes.” The song is from Cody’s solo, self-titled CD, released last week on PLC Records.
