CMT Brings Artist Gear to Fans

4/14/2008 Kasey Bell Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus CMT is known for letting Country Music fans get up close and personal with some of Country’s biggest artists, but now they are going one step further. CMT One Country will be auctioning off items worn or signed by Country Music artists and presenters at tonight's 2008 CMT Music Awards, starting on Tuesday, April 15.  Proceeds from the auction will go to various charities, including America’s Second Harvest, Habitat for Humanity and many more. Some of the items being sold off include a guitar signed by Miley Cyrus, jeans worn and autographed by Keith Urban, a jacket worn by Bucky Covington, a blender signed by Tom Arnold, and several other items donated by artists including Alan Jackson, Big & Rich, Jason Aldean, Sara Evans and more. Auctions will begin tomorrow, April 15, at www.cmtauctions.com.  The 2008 CMT Music Awards airs tonight, April 14, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
