Country cowboy Trace Adkins performed his favorite hits and answered personal questions in a new web series, Unplugged, on CMT.com.

Adkins’ webisode premiered Monday. In an acoustic atmosphere, the Country star played guitar and sang songs from his upcoming album, Cowboy’s Back In Town.

In addition to “Still Love You” and “This Ain’t No Love Song,” Adkins performed a cover of Larry Grahams’ “One in a Million” and sang an old favorite, “This Ain’t No Thinkin’ Thing,” from his debut album, Dreamin’ Out Loud.

In a question and answer session, Adkins revealed his greatest influence and what it was like to be raised on Country Music. He also shared a traumatic experience when he had to dress as a cat in his third grade school play.

“I didn’t sing again ‘til I was seventeen. It scared me pretty bad,” Adkins told CMT.

Be sure to look for Adkins’ new Cowboy’s Back In Town album, which will be released Aug. 17. It’s his first album on Toby Keith's Show Dog - Universal record label.
