CMT Pairing Up with People

5/6/2008 Kasey Bell To coincide with their popular Country Music issue, People magazine will be teaming up with CMT for an exclusive look at some of Country’s biggest names in an upcoming TV special. “The People Country Special” will air later this month on CMT.  It will feature interviews and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of some of Country Music’s most popular artists, including Kenny Chesney, Clint Black, Luke Bryan, Jack Ingram, Carrie Underwood and a behind-the-scenes look at the 2008 CMT Music Awards. The show premieres on Saturday, May 17, at 1:30 p.m. ET on CMT, with encores on Sunday, May 18, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET.  The People Country Special issue will be available on newsstands on Friday, May 16.
