CMT Music Awards Nomination Special Premieres This Weekend

The 2010 CMT Music Awards Nomination Special premiered Friday, hosted by CMT Top 20 host Evan Farmer. The half-hour special allows fans to relive video moments from 2010 to help them make their choices before voting at CMT.com. The special will re-air until the CMT Music Awards take place June 9.
 
Clips from all of the nominated artists are featured during the special, including top vote-getters Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, and Carrie Underwood. Final nominations for the 2010 CMT Music Awards were announced on Tuesday, May 11, and voting is now open at CMT.com.  
 
Kid Rock will be hosting the awards show live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 9. The show will air on CMT and CMT.com. The lineup of performers includes some of Country Music’s biggest stars, including Toby Keith, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, Underwood and Keith Urban; more performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
 

Voting will continue through June 8 at www.vote.CMT.com. The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the live show, and fans can then vote at CMT.com and via text message throughout the live broadcast to determine the night’s big winner.
