CMT.com is once again seeking the best unsigned country music act in America as it launches its third-annual “Music City Madness” contest.

The competition allows undiscovered singer/songwriters the chance to showcase their talents in front of a national online audience, and lets the fans decide who receives top billing. Warner Bros. Records has signed on as the official record label while Chevrolet has joined as official sponsor.

Contestants will also have the opportunity to play live auditions in Nashville, Knoxville, Pittsburgh and Atlanta during which they can record and enter their video-taped submission on site.

The grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Nashville to record an episode of CMT.com’s Unplugged at Studio 330, along with a private mentoring session with Randy Travis and an audition with Warner Bros. Records A&R department.
