The CMA Songwriters Series will return to the Library of Congress' Coolidge Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The series will feature 2010 CMA Vocal Group of the Year nominee Little Big Town. Joining Little Big Town is Brett James (Carrie Underwood’s “Jesus Take the Wheel”), Lori McKenna (Faith Hill’s “Stealing Kisses”) and Bob DiPiero (Tim McGraw’s “Southern Voice”).

"The Library of Congress is known worldwide for its impressive collection of musical archives," said CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore. "Since Country Music is America's music, it is fitting to have some of the genre's most talented songwriters perform in this prestigious venue."

The collaboration with the Library of Congress and Country Music will help to grow the Library's music collections and ensure they reflect and preserve the range and diversity of the American musical heritage.

"It is exciting for the Library to partner with the Country Music Association in showcasing major artists and songwriters drawn from the top Country talents onstage today," said Susan H. Vita, Chief of the Library of Congress Music Division.
