The CMA Songwriters Series will return to Joe's Pub on Sept. 9 with three talented songwriters -- Chuck Wicks, Marv Green and Ashley Gorley.
Bob DiPiero, writer of such hits as George Strait's "Clear Blue Sky" and Brooks & Dunn's "Can't Take The Honky Tonk Out Of The Girl," will host the event, which has sold out for the past five years.
Chuck Wicks, known for "Stealing Cinderella" and "All I Ever Wanted," both recorded by himself, will join songwriters Marv Green ("Amazed" by Lonestar, "Wasted" by Carrie Underwood and "It Just Comes Natural" by George Strait) and Ashley Gorley ("All American Girl" and "Don't Forget to Remember Me," both recorded by Carrie Underwood; and "You're Gonna Miss This," recorded by Trace Adkins).
Tickets for the show are $25 each and are available at www.joespub.com or by calling (212) 967-7555 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. EST.
