CMA Fest Announces Family Zone Lineup

5/5/2008 Kasey Bell The CMA Music Fest is a big draw for Country Music fans of all ages, and they always deliver for the young fans as well.  This year is no different. CMA MusicFest has announced the lineup for the McDonald’s-Dr. Pepper Family Zone, which includes arts and crafts, face painting, games and much more for the whole family.  Each day has a special theme: Thursday, June 5, is Safety Day, June 6 is Health & Wellness day, June 7 is Community Day and June 8 is Environmental Day. The schedule for the Family Zone for the weekend is as follows: Ronald McDonald- Thurs., Fri. and Sun. at 12:40 pm. Strawberry Shortcake- Thurs., Fri. and Sat. at 1:30 pm. The Kid Fiddlers- Thursday at 11 am. Katie Chance- Thursday at 11:50 am. Miss Lori- Thursday at 2:20 pm. Dennis Scott- Thursday at 3:25 pm. GrandBob- Friday at 11:00 am. Bummkinn Band- Friday at 11:50 am. Adam and the Couch Potatoes- Friday at 2:20 pm. Zak Morgan- Friday at 3:10 pm. Tim Hanning’s Pro-Kids Show- Friday at 4 pm. The Hollow Trees- Saturday at 4 pm. The Zinghoppers- Sunday at 11:00 am. Eve and Mare- Sunday at 11:50 am. Little Nashville- Sunday at 2:20 pm. Taylor Ware- Sunday at 3:30 pm. Space Chimps- TBD. On top of that, each day will feature the Music City Rising Star Competition and a celebrity storytelling, sponsored by Borders Books.  On Saturday, there will also be an all-day YWCA Celebrity Auction. The Family Zone is located at the Hall of Fame park at Fifth Avenue and Demonbreun Street.  Hours are 11am-5pm Thursday-Saturday and 11-4 in Sunday.
