Clint’s Performance a Laughing Matter

Country Music star Clint Black may not be used to people laughing at him while he’s on stage, but this is one time when he wanted them to.

 

Clint made his debut as a stand-up comic on the new CBS reality-show Secret Talents of the Stars. His performance was so well-received, fans voted the Country Music singer on to the next round of competition. 

 

Celebrities appearing on the show each week perform talents that most people are unaware of. The performance will be critiqued by the various celebrity judges, and then the fans vote on who stays and who goes home.

 

Clint Black appeared on the inaugural episode of the show, alongside Olympic ice skating champion Sasha Cohen, singer/actress Mya and actor George Takei of Star Trek and Heroes fame. Even though he is used to being on stage, Clint said this is not quite the same.

 

“I’m used to performing in front of an audience, but as I have said before, it’s a whole different thing once the guitar is removed from the mix,” he said. “I don’t know how these professional comedians do it!”

 

The show airs every Tuesday at 10 PM ET, but Clint won’t be on the show again until April 22.
