Clay Walker Tees Off at Pebble Beach

1/29/2008 Stephen L. Betts Clay Walker is set to participate in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Feb. 4-10. He’ll join Kevin Costner, Carson Daly, Andy Garcia, Ray Romano and other celebrities, joined by some of the world’s top golf professionals. The event marks Clay’s eleventh year participating in the prestigious golf tournament. The invitation-only tournament began as the Bing Crosby Clam Bake in 1937 and ten years later was moved to Pebble Beach, CA. Played before upwards of 30,000 fans, golf professionals are paired with amateurs in two-man teams. Today the tournament benefits over 80 local and national charities, and to date over $66 million has been raised and distributed through the Monterey Peninsula Foundation.
