Country Music Vault Now Open Online

12/6/2007 Stephen L. Betts Wolfgang's Vault, an online destination for live music, has announced the launch of the Country Music Vault, featuring hundreds of country-music performance recordings from the past 35 years. The performances are available to stream online for free, and feature acts such as George Strait, Reba McEntire, Emmylou Harris, Dwight Yoakam, and Hank Williams Jr. Among the gems found on the site is a 1977 performance by Dolly Parton at New York City’s Bottom Line. Biographical information about the artist and details of the spotlighted show are also included. The Country Music Vault’s live concert recordings and live music downloads are from the archives of Silver Eagle Cross Country, the nationally-syndicated country radio program created by the producers of the King Biscuit Flower Hour.
