12/19/2007 Stephen L. Betts   Sugarland’s “Stay," a song lead singer Jennifer Nettles wrote four years ago, has become one the duo’s biggest hits and a real crowd-pleaser. Jennifer says she'd been listening to Reba McEntire’s classic cheating song “Whoever's in New England” on the radio when she got the idea to write a song from the other woman's point of view. “There are three people involved in this [situation], and none of them are happy," she says. The song has received a huge response from concert crowds, and Sugarland have even been performing it as a part of their encore.
