Chuck Wicks Has No. 7 Album Debut

1/30/2008 Stephen L. Betts Chuck Wicks’ debut album, Starting Now, bows this week at No. 7 on the Billboard Country Albums chart and lands at No. 24 in its debut week on the Billboard 200. Chart success is just the latest thing Chuck is finding himself getting used to. He’s also on the road as the opening act on Brad Paisley’s Bonfires and Amplifiers tour. Although overwhelmed by the fan reaction to his set, Chuck makes time to sign autographs every night after the show. He admits, however, that growing up on a farm in Delaware, he couldn’t have imagined the number of people who wait each night for an autograph and a picture.   “I’m having the time of my life on tour with Brad,” says Chuck. “I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to people asking for my autograph, but I love spending time with each fan. It definitely blows my mind every night when I see this line of people waiting to meet me.”
