Chris Young Scores Second No. 1

Chris Young’s “The Man I Want to Be” recently topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. This is Young’s second consecutive No. 1 single; “Gettin’ You Home” topped the charts last October.

 

“I was excited when I got my first No. 1, but having two back-to-back like this is mind-blowing. I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it, and I’m so glad that Country radio has loved it as much as I do. It’s just an amazing feeling looking at the top of the chart and seeing my name,” Young said.

 

Following his chart success, Young has been in demand on the concert trail. After opening for Miranda Lambert’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour, Young hits the road with Alan Jackson’s Freight Train Tour. Later this summer, Young will be joining the first leg of Rascal Flatts’ Nothing Like This tour.

 

Young will also be making several appearances on the Grand Ole Opry this summer.
