Chris Young Makes Second Trip Overseas

Chris Young will soon take off on the "Piece of Home" tour, a performance for service members stationed in Iraq and Kuwait, from April 13-21.
 
Young and his band will perform five concerts at five camps throughout Iraq and Kuwait. For the troops in remote FOBs (Forward Operating Base) who rarely have celebrity entertainment, he will also have special acoustic performances.
 
With the help of his fans, Young has also managed to collect iTunes gift cards to divvy out to service members.

This marks Young's second tour to the area and his first performance in Kuwait. His initial tour was in October 2009, where he traveled with Craig Morgan and two wounded heroes, Staff Sergeant Scott Lilley and Sergeant First Class Joe Bowser.
 
The visit was chronicled by GAC and is a television special titled "Stars for Stripes - Wounded Warriors Return." Young serves as a member of the Board Of Directors for "Stars For Stripes."
