Chris Young Is Having A Smash-Hit Summer

Summer is starting to wind down, but for Chris Young it just keeps getting hotter and hotter. Two weeks ago, his third album, Neon, opened at # 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Last week, the first single, “Tomorrow,” from the new album reached No. 1, making it his fourth consecutive hit single. And things still aren’t slowing down—this week his sophomore album, 2009’s The Man I Want To Be, was certified gold by the RIAA, having sold over 500,000 units.
With so much happening in such a short amount of time, it seems like Chris should be taking a well-deserved break, but that definitely isn’t the case. He is currently on the road with Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party Tour while preparing for his album’s second single, “You,” to make its radio debut in several weeks. And if the success of “Tomorrow,” Chris’s fastest-selling release to date, is any indication of how the new single will be received, he should prepare for this fall to be just as eventful as his action-packed, successful summer.
