Chris Cagle Makes Girl's Night

5/9/2008 Kasey Bell Country Music artist Chris Cagle graduated from high school years ago, but he went back for prom and one special girl. Chris recently took Miss Danielle “Bella” Romeo to the prom held at the Victoria Community Center in Victoria, Texas.  However, Bella is not just any girl; she suffers from a rare seizure disorder, and the treatments for it have caused her to gain weight rapidly and have prevented her from driving or attending public school. Bella and her mother were introduced to Chris Cagle at a benefit concert last October. The Country singer was immediately touched by her story. “Bella was so weakened by the lights, she could not make it through the entire show,” Chris said.  “My heart went out to her.” So, Chris decided he would do the nicest thing he could.  He accompanied the 17-year-old to the Junior/Senior prom.  The couple was the center of the evening. “Chris, a gentleman we hardly know, took my child by the arm, and I could see it in his eyes, his honor in the moment,” said Bella’s mother Nipal Corder.  “This is a forever moment for my daughter and a blessing not only to her, but our entire community.”
