Corona Extra to Sponsor Kenny Tour

11/9/2007 Stephen L. Betts Get the lime wedges and salt ready! CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney has announced that the sponsor for his 2008 Poets & Pirates tour will be Corona Extra. The Mexican beer is the No. 1 imported beer in the U.S. A Corona spokesperson says, “Kenny's persona and Corona's brand image share many of the same attributes - laid back attitude, fun-in-the-sun, beach state of mind.” Kenny agrees, saying, “If you want to capture my audience, the thing that stands out is their ability to have more fun in a single day than most people have in a month.” The sponsorship was announced with a full-page ad in the Friday (11/9) edition of USA Today.
