Cheney becomes angry by President Obama terror attack statements

Sept 11th was a difficult time for the United States of America and could be seen by everyone who remembers. Family and friends of those who perished were devastated. Not only that, but history books show everyone within the country at the time to be hurt by it. Most are concerned that President Obama doesn't think Sept 11th hit the country as hard as it did. A remark was created by Cheney in reaction to Obama's remark.

What was Obama's remark?

The September 11th attack was something President Obama commented on. He also spoke about all terrorist attacks within the country. Bob Woodward

showed in his new book, "Obama Wars," President Obama stating:

We can absorb a terrorist attack. We'll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, the biggest attack ever… we absorbed it and we are stronger."

This small statement was enough to set off even Liz Cheney, daughter of Dick Cheney.

What did Cheney state?

The terror attack statement made by President Obama made Liz Cheney really angry. The way she viewed it, Obama said evidently that he didn't plan on using all of his power and resources to protect America. She called for an explanation from Obama about this.

According to Columbia Broadcasting System News, she said:

Americans expect our President to…use everyeach tool at his disposal to find, defeat, capture and kill terrorists. We expect him to…make it clear to our adversaries that an attack on the United States will carry devastating consequences. Instead, President Obama is reported to have said, 'We can absorb a terrorist attack.' This comment suggests an alarming fatalism on the part of President Obama… The President owes the American people an explanation.

Others would like a conclusion

Many other individuals want a conclusion to the Obama terror attack statement that was made. Bilal of 12 News wants to know why the president would ever say that. He wanted to know why the United States president wouldn't use every little thing he had to stop the terrorist attacks as well. Many others are pondering why the President would be egging on terrorists to come to the country. Since Cheney, and other people, love to criticize the Obama administration, Mitch Marconi thinks it is all just an overreaction. Either way, some kind of explanation is expected from Obama in the near future.
