The concert will feature Charlie Daniels, Montgomery Gentry, Taylor Swift, Rodney Atkins and Chris Young. Says headliner Charlie Daniels of the event, “It's a chance to do something for some kids that would probably not be as merry during Christmas time as they are with giving them money to buy gifts with and that sort of thing. It's a very worthwhile thing for underprivileged kids.” The Christmas for Kids organization has been helping children throughout Middle Tennessee celebrate the holidays for more than 20 years. Each year, children from 25 different schools are taken on a day-long excursion, beginning with a chauffeured trip from their school aboard a country music star's luxury tour bus to a local Wal-Mart, where they are accompanied by a volunteer to participate in their own Christmas shopping spree. On the return trip home, the children participate in a Christmas carol sing-along. In addition to the concert, to raise money for the shopping spree, the Tour Bus Tour event will take place Dec. 17 in the parking lot of the Hendersonville, Tenn., Wal-Mart from 5 to 9 p.m. CT. Visitors will have the opportunity to get a glimpse inside the busses of over 50 country acts
