Charlie Daniels Band Lets Freedom Ring with New Album

In the midst of their late-summer tour, The Charlie Daniels Band is set to release a new, patriotic album, Land That I Love, on Aug. 10.
 
The group’s 53rd album was co-produced by Daniels, Patrick Kelly and Casey Wood and features 15 tracks, including classics like “Simple Man,” “In America” and “Still in Saigon.’
 
The newly recorded “Iraq Blues” and “(What This World Needs is) A Few More Rednecks 2010” are also included and are currently available at iTunes and Amazon.com. “Iraq Blues” was written while the band was touring in Iraq.
 
Land That I Love will be ready for purchase through iTunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody.com and select retail stores on Aug. 10.
 
The Charlie Daniels Band will be at Bangor Waterfront in Bangor, Maine, on Aug. 5 before joining the Sean Hannity Freedom Concert series on August 6 in Jackson, N.J.
