Carrie and Chace: Txt-Message Break Up?

The latest in the Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford Split: The Country Music star broke up with him via text message. The undeterred Carrie Underwood told Extra, "We broke up over text so ... it's like 'peace out.'"  The ACM award nominee maintains the breakup was mutual and that she doesn’t harbor negative feelings for her ex. “It just didn't work,” she said. “We both knew it didn't work and [had] no hard feelings at all whatsoever.” The split is old news, with Underwood clarifying that the couple ended the relationship two months ago. “Then when you break up with somebody and then like two months later it comes out and it's like you're rehashing old stuff. I don't know what that's all out now,” she told the tabloid show. Meanwhile, Crawford has already been linked with his new Gossip Girl co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg, the former little sister of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
