Underwood’s ninth single, “Just a Dream,” is currently holding the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.Underwood is also scheduled to co-host the 42nd Annual CMA Awards with Brad Paisley. She is also nominated in two CMA categories: Female Vocalist of the Year, a title that she has held for the past two years, and Album of the Year for her hit, Carnival Ride. Of her nominations, Underwood said, "It's definitely hard work recognized. When I was growing up, I didn't think about being out on tour - you just think it's all glamour and glitz, but there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. Whenever you're nominated and whenever you win, every single person around you that helps you can take a little bit of that with them, too.”After the CMA’s, Underwood will be right back on the road touring. Visit www.carrieunderwood.fm for the listing of the Carnival Ride tour dates/cities and for more information.
