Carrie Underwood Top Female Artist of 2008

Opry member and 2008 CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Carrie Underwood has lived up to her award, becoming the top-selling female Country touring artist of the year.Her appearance earlier this week at the Grand Ole Opry and Carnival Ride tour brought in 1.2 million fans, far more than anyone else. She also finished out 2008 as the most heard artist on Country radio and the No. 1 Country artist in both Billboard and Radio & Records.
