Carrie Underwood To Sing At Super Bowl

Country Music superstar Carrie Underwood is slated to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl XLIV on Sunday, Feb. 7, while artist Queen Latifah will sing "America The Beautiful."

The performances are part of the pre-game festivities at Sun Life Stadium in Flaorida, which will air prior to kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

Underwood joins a legion of performers to perform the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, including Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, Harry Connick, Jr., Garth Brooks, Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams, Luther Vandross, Cher, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, Dixie Chicks, Beyoncé Knowles and Jennifer Hudson.

Queen Latifah is part of an elite group of performers to sing "America The Beautiful" at the event. Past performers include Faith Hill, Vicki Carr, Alicia Keys, Ray Charles and Mary J. Blige and Marc Anthony.

The halftime show will be headlined by The Who.
