Carrie Underwood to Perform at People's Choice Awards

Country Music and American Idol Carrie Underwood has been asked to perform at the upcoming People's Choice Awards show. Underwood's song selection has not yet been announced.The 35th Annual People's Choice Awards will take place Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at 9 p.m. EST. This year's festivities will be hosted by Queen Latifah at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.Underwood recently wrapped her Carnival Ride tour in Florida, playing 137 cities total on the tour.
