Carrie Underwood Resumes Play On Tour

Carrie-Underwood-2009

After entertaining nearly 400,000 fans on the three-month spring leg of her headlining arena tour, Carrie Underwood will “play on” when the fall leg of the tour kicks off Saturday, Sept. 25, in Portland, Ore.

Taking inspiration from her track “Change” and its message that even the smallest contribution can make a difference, Underwood will donate 36 cents of every ticket sold on her Play On tour to Save the Children’s United States Programs.

Special guests joining Underwood are Billy Currington, whose track “Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer” recently reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and Sons of Sylvia, who join Underwood on her ballad “What Can I Say.”

The tour will play 47 cities and extend until mid-December, even making a stop in Nashville on Oct. 13. For a complete list of dates for the Play On tour, visit http://www.carrieunderwood.fm.
