Carrie Underwood 'Plays On' with New Album, TV Appearances

Along with being the co-host for the upcoming 43rd Annual CMA Awards on Nov. 11 along with Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood is also promoting the release of her new album, Play On, in stores today.
The lead single off the album, "Cowboy Casanova," is the fastest-rising single of the year, selling over more than 100,000 copies in its first week of sales.  Like much of her previous work, Underwood collaborated with famed producer Mark Bright, who helped her with previous albums Carnival Ride and Some Hearts.   
Underwood is scheduling television appearances for the week following the awards ceremony in Nashville.  
She will appear for the first time ever on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien early next week, followed by segments on Good Morning America, the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Also, on Nov. 12, A&E will air the Carrie Underwood Biography.
Later this month, Underwood will perform at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles where she is nominated for Favorite Country Female Artist.
