Carrie Underwood 'Plays On' Through 2010
Keywords:
Due to fan demand and ticket sales, 2010 ACM Entertainer of the Year Carrie Underwood will continue her Play On tour through the end of this year.
The Play On tour is 'hydrated' by vitaminwater® and is now slated to run through Dec. 19, 2010. By the end of the year, Underwood will have performed more than 100 shows throughout the U.S. and Canada since launching the tour on March 11.
Billy Currington and Sons of Sylvia will appear this fall as special guests. Tickets for the newly announced fall dates will go on sale beginning Saturday, April 24, at 10 a.m. – please see local venues for specific information.
Underwood will be donating 36 cents of every ticket sold for the fall tour dates to Save the Children. This initiative was inspired by the “36 cents” written in the lyrics of her album track, “Change,” which addresses how even the smallest bit of spare change that one might have can add up to make a difference and help “change” the world. Fans can see Underwood perform this song on Idol Gives Back this Wednesday, April 21, on FOX.
The updated tour itinerary below reflects the full schedule of shows, including the new fall leg. Go to www.carrieunderwood.fm for up-to-date tour information.
