Carrie Underwood is one of the most popular and celebrated female vocalists in Country Music. Critics praise her for “brow-raising notes” and deem her “the reigning queen of the genre.”

It is no surprise that her “Blown Away” album was an enormous success.

Underwood was the top female country-touring artist for 2012 according to Pollstar’s Year-End chart, emphasizing her role as “reigning queen of the genre.” Throughout the 2012 leg of "The Blown Away Tour," Underwood performed for over a half a million fans.

The album made history by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart, making Carrie the second artist in the chart’s history to have each of their first four albums land the No. 1 spot.

Underwood’s “Blown Away” Tour ended on Dec. 22 but will re-launch on Feb. 13 in Colorado Springs. The new tour will travel throughout America, Canada, UK and Ireland. Hunter Hayes will join the tour as a special guest for the North America shows.

The Grammy award winner and current Grammy nominee is always using her career to support philanthropic needs.

One Dollar from each ticket sold for the North American and Canada legs of the “Blown Away Tour” will be donated to support Red Cross disaster relief. The donation will help the Red Cross provide shelter, food and emotional support for those in need after a disaster.
