Carrie, Faith Among Music's "Hottest" Women

Country Aircheck reports that entertainment website Shoutmouth.com has ranked “The 50 Hottest Women in Music,” with seven entries (or 14%) on the list being country artists, or women with ties to country music. The website’s rules stipulated that rankings were based on “recent hotness,” (which they termed the “Madonna rule”) and that groups were ranked by “averaging the hotness of all members” (a/k/a “the Dixie Chicks rule”). All of the women on the list had to be over 18 to qualify, and also had to have released an album before August 1, 2007. Here’s the list of country acts who landed in the Top 50: 

• Miranda Lambert (48)
• Kelly Clarkson (45)
• Dixie Chicks (37)
• Danielle Peck (32)
• Shania Twain (20)
• Faith Hill (10)
• Carrie Underwood (3)

No. 1 on the list overall was Dukes of Hazzard hottie Jessica Simpson, with Shakira, Beyonce and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls rounding out the top five. For the complete list, click HERE
