Carolyn Dawn Johnson Gets JUNO Nomination

The latest release from Canadian performer Carolyn Dawn Johnson has earned the singer/songwriter a nomination for a 2011 JUNO Award.

 

“Love Rules,” which Johnson said was the “hardest project” she had ever worked on, was nominated Thursday for Country Album of the Year by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences at a press conference in Toronto.

 

“I love, love, love this music,” Johnson said. “I am thankful that CARAS and the community of my peers chose to nominate it.”

 

Award winners will be announced at a JUNO Gala Dinner and Awards on March 26. The 2011 JUNO Awards show will be broadcast from the Air Canada Center in Toronto on March 27.
