12/6/2007 Stephen L. Betts Carolina Rain will perform the National Anthem for a sold-out crowd at the Green Bay Packers home game this Sunday (12/9). It will mark the group’s third NFL performance.  Lambeau Field is home turf for the Packers and holds up to 72,569 fans. This week the Packers take on the Oakland Raiders and a victory (or a loss by the Detroit Lions, who trail Green Bay by four games with four to play) would give the Packers their first NFC North division title since 2004. "In Green Bay, the words 'Packers' and 'Fans' are interchangeable - we have never seen a more devoted and passionate group of football fans, so you know that level of intensity is going to totally pump us up!" says Carolina Rain’s Rhean Boyer.  Carolina Rain will head into the studio in early 2008 to begin work on their sophomore release for Equity Music Group.
